Low Rise Housing Diversity

The Low Rise Housing Diversity Code (formerly called the Low Rise Medium Density Housing Code) provides an easier route for dual-occupancies, manor houses and terraces to be fast tracked and approved with less hassle, through complying development. However, because the path of approval will be made simpler, a Design Verification Statement must be prepared and approved by a registered Architect or an accredited Building Designer. At ArkExpress, our Director, Hy Chheng who is a registered architect is directly involved in every project to ensure that these developments are ‘well-designed’ and consistent with the Design Guide and is committed to obtaining the best outcome for our clients. Since obtaining one of the very first ten approvals when the Code commenced on 6 July 2018, ArkExpress has assisted many other developers and investors benefit from this more efficient and time saving approval process.
