A design proposal for a boutique multi-residential apartment building on an elongated, triangular site in the heart of Fairfield. The project consist of 20 new residential units over 6 storeys which will replace an old existing residential flat building consisting of 6 outdated residential units. The design is inspired by the idea of creating a well-designed, sustainable building that is light-filled, sunny and breezy to maximise the comfort and well-being of its residents. One of the main distinguishing characteristics of the building is the open breezeway connecting the service and living zones together whilst optimising daylight and natural ventilation and providing external connection opportunities. Currently at pre-DA stage.
