Located on a corner block in the Southern Sydney suburb of Bardwell Valley, three luxury terrace houses recently approved with torrens title subdivision under the Low Rise Housing Diversity Code. Where traditional terrace houses typically share party walls with its neighbours, these terrace houses are detached from one another. Also, while terrace houses are usually dark and dinky, these terrace houses find light and space from the high raked ceilings, large clerestory windows and vast skylights. Overall, this project challenges the narrative of a traditional terrace house by creating highly spacious and light-filled homes that not only looks but feels and functions like free-standing homes.
