Multi Dwelling Housing (Terraces) – Fairfield, NSW

The project maximised the site use by putting 5 terraces on a 670m² block which is zoned R3 medium density residential. Our design included 2 spacious bedrooms plus a study room with open plan living spaces to all 5 units to allow the residences to cater for a range of investment opportunities. This project was one of the first ten approved under the Low Rise Medium Density Housing Code (now called the Low Rise Housing Diversity Code), which commenced on 6 July 2018. It is the first terrace development in the area, setting an encouraging precedent for more affordable housing. Approved in November 2018 and construction completed September 2019.

Project Achievements

–        Our design provided an additional 2 dwellings on the site which was previously DA approved for only 3 dwellings using the new Low Rise Medium Density Housing Code for complying development.
