A new purpose designed childcare centre located on a constrained site in Fairfield catering for 43 children with basement carparking. The first floor is primarily for the children while the second floor is dedicated to staff. The priority was to maximise the number of children that can be accommodated, make the building as efficient as possible, while also ensuring that it’s the best design outcome for the children who are going to be attending the centre. Overall, the design is the perfect balance in delivering a modern childcare centre, while sympathising with the residential character of the locality and the resulting building is bursting with exciting elements that will be a enriching and rewarding place for children to attend. Currently under DA assessment.
