This four terrace houses is situated on a triangular corner site that is just over 720sqm. Each home features between 2 to 4 bedrooms – all with open plan living, precious private outdoor space and car parking. While the prominent street frontage bending around the corner poses many obstacles trying to comply with the setback requirements as set out in the low rise housing diversity code, we managed to achieve 4 x strata title terraces on this tricky block. A great example of a project embracing the constraints of a site to achieve an innovative and unique design solution. Currently under construction.
– The block only qualifies for 3 dwellings if done under Council DA. Instead we managed to obtain approval for 4 dwellings under a fast-tracked complying development approval pathway using the low rise housing diversity code.
