This new generation boarding house project in Kingswood was DA approved under Penrith City Council. The project consist of 10 self-contained boarding rooms made up of 2 x double rooms and 8 x single rooms on a small corner site less than 600sqm. We have worked on a number of boarding houses in the past and have successfully received DA approvals as quick as 4 months. This one took a little over 12 months due to a number of constraints and challenges along the way – arborist, acoustics and RMS issues as the site is on a busy classified road. Overall, we are justifiably proud of the result; a well-crafted building of high aesthetic quality and amenity that will enhance its significant corner location and deliver value to the owners and occupants.
