ArkExpress was approached to design a unique, chic and modern duplex that was client lifestyle specific on a corner block in the heart of Miranda. This asymmetrical, upside down living designed duplex has a feeling of separation between the two houses with entrances on different streets, turn their backs on each other and the floor layouts are arranged completely different. The client wanted one of the duplex to feature an open plan kitchen, family, living and dining areas on the first floor to take advantage of the water views while the bedrooms are all situated on the ground floor. They also wanted a home that is architecturally unique, functional, practical and packed with natural light and ventilation. Completed May 2019.
